Our firm was originally formed in 2002 by four partners with a common goal - to provide customized solutions to the human capital challenges faced by our clients.

After spending a combined 72 years successfully building the New York/New Jersey Metro practice for a national staffing firm called Source Finance, their firm was acquired by another publicly traded company. Being part of a large, publicly traded organization resulted in a change of priorities and philosophy. In order to continue our consultative and relationship based approach to serving our clients' needs, we decided to form the XSOR Group (all of our founding partners were “ex-Source”)—a firm whose vision is to provide a wider variety of services to fewer clients. As such, our firm provides interim, project and permanent placement services in the finance, accounting and information technology areas. Given our customer intimate philosophy, we have also co-developed permanent placement and project solutions with clients in non-core areas such as Marketing, Operations Management, Training and Human Resources. In 2006, as part of our continuing evolution and desire to better serve our clients, we reorganized the Firm and changed our name to SOURCE ASSOCIATES. We continue to provide a high value-added customer focused approach, combined with our unique blend of business experience in what we call – the SOURCE ADVANTAGE.
